Some time ago, I saw a film in which Fredric March plays a most curious doctor and his totally evil friend, “Mr. Hyde”. And since then I have been increasingly intrigued by the gentleman known as “Edward Hyde”. Recently I sat down and finally decided to finally read the first three volumes of The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen. Upon doing so, I found this interest of mine, this Mr. Hyde, even more interesting than I had previously thought him possible of being.  So much so, that I sat myself down and put on a free audiobook (cool find! a whole site of free public domain audiobooks) of “The Strange Case of Doctor Jekyll and Mister Hyde” and drew the abomination of science, himself!

The color sketch below is of Mr. Hyde, inspired (since I’ve bulked him down a bit, but Goddamn! I love the way they did his face…his mouth in particular) by the vision created by Messrs Moore and O’Neill.
